Therapeutic garden

Grove Park Surgery has developed a garden growing fruit and vegetables at the back of the building. It was designed by award-winning garden designer Sophie Walker, and is now ready for patients to garden in! We are looking for people, both with and without gardening experience, to help, so if you have some spare time, we would welcome your input for a few hours every month. Please give your name to one of the staff or to secretary Mandy Green. We look forward to seeing you!

The fruit and vegetables grown will be freely available to the participants, and any surplus sold to the patient population, the proceeds being used to maintain the garden and purchase further plants. The site has been prepared using funds allocated by the Tesco Bags for Life Scheme, and a £500 grant from Hounslow Council, with additional funding by Awards for All. We have also had valuable assistance from the Chiswick Horticultural Society.

Are you a carer ?
