Saturday 29th September 9-11am 2018 Baby and Child Resuscitation

Learn what to do if your baby or child stopped breathing or was choking. Practice on manikins. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and practice, giving you confidence and reassurance. Useful handout given of all the steps covered.

Every parent naturally worries about knowing what to do if a baby chokes or stops breathing. This course achieves the balance of reassuring you that such situations are rare but teaches you the importance of responding with confidence, and equips you with essential advice and information.

Time and time again feedback has demonstrated that this course gives peace of mind.

Following the current guidelines from the Resuscitation Council you will be taught Basic Life Support, through easy to remember techniques. During the course you'll practice on manikins, at least one between two people or one each, to help you feel fully confident in the techniques taught.

The Baby and Child Resuscitation course is a must for new parents, whether ante, postnatal or anyone looking after children on a regular basis, and covers the steps to take for children of all ages.
